The Campra orienteering week-end is now behind us and I believe that we will all cherish for a long time a pleasant memory of the extraordinary success of its organization and competitions. Many thanks to the organizing committee and to all volunteers of ASCO Lugano and Orientisti 92 Piano di Magadino who joined forces to offer the over 1600 participants very high-level competitions in the magnificent upper Blenio Valley region. A dutiful thanks also to all Authorities and Patriciates, and to all Sponsors and in particular BancaStato and EGK which enthusiastically supported our event. Finally, heartfelt thanks to all of you participants for reaching Campra from all corners of Switzerland and from abroad to honour us with your presence: THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

The quota of 1,500 entrants has been exceeded; in the elite categories, extremely interesting races are to be expected, with the presence of over 170 athletes, including many big names from the Swiss, Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, Czech and Polish national teams.
Among the top names, multiple world and European medallists and included in the top 10 of their respective world rankings, are Kasper Harlem Fosser (NOR), Gustav Bergman (SWE), Matthias Kyburz (SUI), Daniel Hubmann (SUI), Magne Daehli (FIN), Ruslan Glibov (UKR) and Miika Kirmula (FIN) in the men's category; in the women's category, in addition to the home favourite Elena Roos (SUI), Simona Aebersold (SUI), Andrine Benjaminsen (NOR), Marika Teini (FIN), Sabine Hauswirth (SUI) and Lisa Risby (SWE) will be present.
The possibility to register for the OPEN courses (easy; medium; difficult) is also offered on site, on Saturday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and on Sunday from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm. We look forward to seeing you at the Nordic Centre in Campra!

Orienteering Weekend Ticino 2022
The orienteering clubs O-92 Piano di Magadino and ASCO Lugano welcome you warmly to an exciting weekend of nationally-sanctioned orienteering events in the wonderful upper Blenio valley area.
We have joined forces to offer you two top-notch orienteering events in gorgeous alpine terrain. On Saturday August 27 we will host a middle distance race in the area of Campra (Google Map), while on Sunday August 28 there will be a long distance race further up in Dötra-Anveuda (Google Map).
Both races are World Ranking Events (WRE). We would like to thank all Sponsors for their valuable support:
